The incumbent in this position is responsible for developing an environment that creates excitement for guests and employees, promoting and retaining a highly skilled work force.
The incumbent is also responsible for developing and coordinating programs to attract high-limit players and host such guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits. Work requires superior communication and judgmental skills, as the position is called upon to interact frequently with high-limit customers and make decisions regarding extensions of large sums of money and complimentaries. |
| Skills/Duties: |
Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including player-tracking system, AS/400, computer keyboard, telephone.
Ability to review and comprehend player-tracking screens, reports, and all other necessary information and documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas.
Flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules.
This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
Demonstrated knowledge of all casino gaming, as well as regular high-limit customers and their betting habits, in order to make knowledgeable decisions regarding credit extensions.
Ability to communicate effectively in order to understand and meet the needs of preferred customers.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make decisions regarding credit limits.
Ability to network and establish relationships with individual prospective customers and groups that displays and demonstrates potential gaming value.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through Bachelors Degree in Business or Liberal Arts and a minimum of two years progressive casino customer contact experience, with at least one year in a casino service role administering a player-tracking system; or through a high school education or equivalent, and three years progressive casino services in a development role administering a player-tracking system.
