Position Summary:

The Games Manager is responsible for the overall success of the gaming operation. Ensures the integrity, efficiencies and performance of table games and slots. Ensures that gaming is operated in accordance with AGLC Terms and Conditions and Operating Guidelines, Gaming and Liquor Act, Gaming and Liquor Regulations and all board policies.

Key Accountabilities:
Provides direction, sets performance objectives and conducts employee evaluations for direct reports
Oversees cash reconciliation and cash handling procedures
Ensures shift schedules are prepared
Pulls drop boxes for interim and final counts
Oversees float and chip verification
Responds to and resolves guest issues
Ensures that problematic guest gaming behaviour is managed: liaises with AADAC
Ensures the security of games including control and access to keys for chip tray
In conjunction with the Casino Manager, ensures that a AGLC licensed Manager is in the Casino at all times
Manages other initiatives or duties as required

Skills/Duties:
Education and Qualification Requirements
Post Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Computer literacy in MS Office
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Casino; gaming management preferred
First Nations experience an asset
Other languages an asset
